1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Before i began this course I was beginning a downward slump, although I had some inner resources from my previous studies and a lot of self-awareness, at this period in my life I was in a transitional phase and a lot of bad habits were creeping in and sabotaging my trajectory. These bad habits were beginning to make me dissociative, disconnected and derailed from the impact I could be having. From this place, if I kept sinking my self-esteem would have eroded and I would have became increasingly stuck.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

After listening to Jordan on Youtube I noticed and appreciated the level of nuance and knowledge that Jordan has. This was clearly to a degree that can only be achieved through doing the work and engaging with many books and teachings.

Jordans course also has a full Psychospiritual perspective and thus includes the whole being from elements of archetypal influences, sub-personalities, shadow material and the transpersonal, there is a rich inclusion of it all. It was because of this holistic approach that I wanted to dive in and hear his perspectives, despite already having studied a transpersonal psychology at university I was particularly interested in the somatic, archetypal and collective modules.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

A boundary I had set in place for myself was to stop posting and participating in social media, as well as to delete some of them to reduce exposure to certain materials. What this did create though was exposed to me in Jordans module on the 'Social Media Shadow', I realised that part of this fragmentation I was experiencing was due to being in a prolonged lurking/passive position which can overwhelm the psyche with information without any of it becoming integrated or utilised in reality. 

The module on the masculine archetypes was also great to get a feel for how balanced I am in these 4 primary archetypes and the consequences of being imbalanced. It's a great and applicable model to quite quickly see areas for growth and potential. It provides a great map for understanding how we can move from one pole of expression to another and the necessity to integrate.

I think overall part of the general message throughout the shadow work library is that we can show up now for ourselves, whether that's to build self-esteem, to show our inner child we can have the difficult conversations we need to have etc, it isn't just an internal process but how do we take this into the world and show up in a different way with a balance of love for ourselves and that we will get things wrong, but to show up again regardless. Without the will and masculine principle I believe we can add further complexity to our inner process and healing, it needs the balance of the masculine to move us into balance.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

I think the most significant is simply connecting to the inner warrior more and mobilising from a passive state into an active participant. This involved connecting to my ability to 'take', a question I pondered was "how much did i really want to take what i want from life". There was a particular module Jordan explained the pulling motion as symbolically taking what we want from the world, I realised although I had done a lot of work on my 'nice' parts, there was still a deeper layer in my shadow I needed to reclaim and am in process of reclaiming.

Another habit which is something still developing but is reminded to me through dreams and active imagination over and over is this necessity to choose in each moment to drop the vices, drop the distractions and ways of numbing out and to actively turn inwards to see what needs addressing or to connect deeply to the will to action and simply do what needs to be done.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

I have enjoyed Jordans sporadic bits of humour mixed in with an overall serious professional tone. There is also his firm but compassionate approach to teaching and nudging you towards your golden shadow of wanting more for yourself. You can tell he is deeply engaged and this deeply matters to him, these certainly aren't bad qualities to have rub off on you. 
 
And then there is the material itself. A great and diverse but interconnected choice of modules allowing a rich exploration of different layers and levels of shadow. Moving through the somatic, the swamplands of the soul to the higher unconscious levels of the psyche with some very important warnings and pointers to once again show this is a grounded 360 perspective, not something to just blast ourselves open and untether the ego from its rightful place. 

Lastly, it is one thing reading books and navigating the density of some of them but if you lose the 'why' then the anchor point gets lost. Jordan continually points back to the anchor and grounds the material again and again. I think it could be easy to over look this but it is deeply important. It is with these whys and the continual nesting of one module into another that it prevents fragmentation and confusion. He is a great 'bridge maker' metaphorically speaking, and without bridges perhaps we are at risk of being swept away with the currents of words and ideas.

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

Jordan is a fantastic teacher that repeatedly reminds and points towards your ability to show up in a better way for yourself, whether it is goals, healing or integration, he actively, through his choice of words and energy, makes you want to show up for yourself.

STUDENT INTERVIEW 02/24:
Harry Boll, Data Scientist. 

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Inner world - chaotic, reactive, FULL of pent-up old fight-flight energy without me realising, a dysregulated nervous system, much self-criticism and many deep, stagnant ponds of intense emotions such as despair, fear and disappointment.

Outer world - lots going well, but also lots not - strong lack of motivation at work, intense anxiety around friendships, some areas of stagnation in personal relationship, seemed to not quite make progress on important things.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I had previously done many personal growth courses, then I found what I'll call "meaning" psychology/philosophy and finally through Jordan's videos realised how much I needed the "personal" end of psychology - I'd always assumed I had not much trauma or reason to be struggling psychologically in a personal sense, a classic pattern I suppose of what you most need is in the last place you think to look.

A ton of things started to click upon finding Jordan's channel, and the idea of "Actually if you read a bunch of the best psychology books and apply them consistently things will likely get much better" resonated immediately.

In a nutshell, I joined the Shadow Work Library over another course because there was clearly nothing that was going to compare in terms of both distillation (best 36 books out of 100s) AND depth (36 books is far deeper than most courses will ever go). I also felt a strong calling to at least 6 out of the 9 modules so I knew it would be a fantastic fit.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

God, so many. I'll list as many of the main ones as I can: Biggest impact has been starting a bioenergetics/TRE practice after reading Alexander Lowen from the somatics module. I don't think I ever would have found those books without Jordan, and doing that basically every day for more than a year now has helped me empty out so much old fight-flight energy I had no idea was contributing heavily to everything negative in my life. I've literally had dreams showing me directly how much extra capacity this has brought to my life.

Second would have to be being able to process oceans of negative emotion, particularly fear, depression, despair via reading Swamplands of the Soul that were overwhelming me. Trauma and the Soul, Jung's Map of the Soul and Dreamwork have helped me make sense of my dreams and the structure of my psyche which is so cool and very helpful. Aligned, Relaxed, Resilient has been phenomenal and really added a new layer of realisations to the interconnection of bod and mind.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

I've massively reduced/quit addictive behaviours, I've started training a martial art 2-3x a week, I have a lot more motivation and ability to regulate at work, and I feel much more connected to myself and much calmer and connected to friends and my partner. And I almost forgot to add the habit of reading every day which has been fantastic!

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

Watching myself grow and start to shift all of these old, heavy patterns of body and mind - it's very enjoyable to literally feel your "chains" loosen and fall off every day because of the work and energy you're putting in on a consistent basis with the SWL as a focal mechanism.

I've hugely enjoyed doing so much reading of such fantastic books, and the knowledge and good feelings that brings. And last but definitely not least, the community has been fantastic! I've loved going to the Sunday seminars and meeting all the lovely, lovely people inside the course and getting to interact with them and Jordan, who holds the space wonderfully. Much gratitude and love for all in the community.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Before the SWL, I was outwardly a success, but underneath it all I would oscillate between depression and rage. I felt stuck in life despite achieving the traditional milestones. I experienced burnout and knew it was time to take my inner world seriously. Previously, I had pushed my inner turbulence down to be able to get through life and it was making my mind and body sick.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

One of Jordan's Youtube videos popped up on my feed. I was struck by Jordan's intensity and intellect and wondered why he was so insistent that I read these books? I have never seen such a video before, no editing just deep and meaningful conversation. Jordan eloquently speaks of ideas, concepts and feelings that I could barely articulate but instinctually knew I needed to explore.

I watched Jordan's Youtube channel for a few months and read some book recommendations. The books were insightful, challenging and helpful and I wanted to know more. I knew nothing of psychology and I wanted a course that would help me explore my inner world straight away. Other courses did not let me work at my own pace, the SWL gives access to all modules at once.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

Attending the weekly seminars, sharing experiences in the forum and submitting questions to the group helped me overcome my fear of being seen and talking openly with others. Other members sharing their experiences has broken the spell of isolation and the feeling of 'otherness' that I used to carry.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

Dedicated time for study and introspection has enriched my life and started to release blocks around creativity and taking action. The somatic module has helped me to work though and understand the pain and tension that I had for years. It has introduced me to a life long practice of caring for my body and mind.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

The sense of community from the weekly seminars, meeting other amazing students and hearing their experiences and the development of a regular reading practice, such sacred time alone!

Before joining the SWL, I already had many aha moments reading books that Jordan advised on his YouTube channel. This is what helped me understand how different the program is. As a therapist, I constantly study. Here, I had a solid structure and variety to inject me with new ideas that not a single program that I met came even close to being such a holistic approach to shadow work in particular.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I saw patterns that felt like constant character flaws that were actually hidden gems. For me, it was embodying the knowledge into reality. Befriending my subpersonalities is probably another benefit.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

I am reading daily, removing bullshit behaviours one at a time, meeting with fellow shadow travellers, and feeling significant in my own story.

Knowing familiar strangers. Great reading lists. Getting better at being a human being.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

My inner world was consistently judgmental, and I had no sense of balance or awareness that there were different parts of me to accept - especially the so-called “bad parts.” I lacked true self-acceptance. In my outer world, I felt like I could only put on one face, the “nice” face, which led to constant people pleasing. There was no balance, no paradox.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I had been watching Jordan’s YouTube videos and even joined a couple of his live sessions before choosing him as my mentor. He truly does the work and is an inspiration to many. Seeing how genuine and truthful he is, not only with himself but also with his audience made it very easy for me to choose The Shadow Work Library. I’m very happy that I did.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I’ve developed a better relationship with myself by learning to accept both my good and bad sides. As a result, I’ve noticed positive changes in how I relate to others, and I now have healthier relationships overall.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

For me, it’s been about understanding balance. Before this, I was very high-performing, always doing everything to the max, which often led to burnout. Through shadow work, I’ve been learning how to balance my lifestyle in a healthier and more sustainable way

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

The first thing I’ve enjoyed is the people - seeing how open and vulnerable everyone is has inspired me to be more vulnerable too. Second, Jordan’s way of speaking and guiding us in the seminars has been powerful and supportive. Third, I really appreciate how the seminars flow: when a student asks a question, everyone contributes ideas, which not only tests our knowledge but also builds empathy and helps us see different parts of ourselves. I feel very grateful for this community.

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

If you are second-guessing whether you should join the Shadow Work Library, please do it - you won’t regret it. It’s worth every penny. The modules have real depth and cover so much; I haven’t seen anything else like it. Most courses focus on just one thing and feel short or surface-level, but SWL allows you to go slowly and dive deeply. Even if you’re a medical student or someone with a very busy schedule, don’t hesitate, this is absolutely doable alongside everything else.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

I've been on my self healing journey for about 15 years, actively doing my best to improve my wellbeing and building beneficial skills through therapy, introspection, and seeing challenging situations as opportunities to learn abd grow. I had a good idea of what my symptoms are.

I had a mostly sufficient "toolbox" for tending my symptoms, I was already reparenting myself, reading (mostly research articles), aware of the way my pendulum swings (and was excited to see Jordan is using the same term), I was able to heal my BPD (borderline), BUT, despite having the awareness and despite my growth and healing, I was still stuck behind in many ways that bothered me. I needed more information, more solutions, more ways to help myself, the more I advanced with my healing, the harder it was to find helpful recourses.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I wasn't necessarily looking to join a course of that sort, especially because I'm weary of closed self development groups, and I must say I was cautious joining this one.

I've been watching Jordan pretty much regularly for about 3 years before joining the SWL. In my opinion, his content is the best free trauma healing content online. On point, thought provoking, honors my intelligence and intellect, and most importantly- he's able to address difficult topics with compassion, maturity and grace. There came a point I didn't wanna engage in complex, vulnerable conversations on the Youtube comment section, so the SWL made sense for me. A course with uncensored topics? More great book recommendations? Like minded people to converse with privately? Weekly calls to support each other's journeys, facilitated by Jordan, who I know is a highly professional and dedicated teacher? I gave it a go and I'm very happy I did. 

 Also, I LOVE Jordan's business model, wanted to support it.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

• For the first time in my life, I can imagine and plan a far future for myself. THIS IS LIFE-CHANGING! I'm able to do this with one walk of life for now, and working on unlocking some more of this goodness. 
 • I updated my map of the soul. Before, it was a typographic map now, I'm able to name regions that were nameless before and new roads and pathways are being built, connecting me to myself in new, interesting ways. 
 • Better, quicker regulation- allowing me make smarter choices during crisis. 
 • Unlocking more deep rooted traumatic content that was hard to reach before, and more insights on how to process it. 
 • There are constant shifts and healing advancements, too many to mention, because I keep working as hard as I can.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

Implementation of better habits: lately almost no doomscrolling, eating better food, exercising regularly, reading more, taking better care of my physical health . Not because I need to or have to, because I deeply, genuinely want to. I have more tools to understand others around me, and to be of better help to people around me who are struggling.  Professionally- I'm more structured and proactive and assertive. Again, things are constantly shifting.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1) The community! Wonderful people! The sunday seminars are always rich with high level, interesting, heartfelt conversations, some of them were transformational for me. The community is providing more knowledge, more content, more support, and the opportunity for you to support and enrich others. This community feels like home. 

 2) The curiculum is crafted beautifully, the exercises are eye opening and valuable, the books I've read so far are great. Everything is well thought of, including video and audio quality. It's not one of those annoying pre-recoded zoom call courses, no screeching sibilants or noisy video. Just awesome quality. The closest you can get to a 1-1 conversation. 
The teacher! Jordan approaches inner work with curiosity and playfulness that proved to be just right to handle tough subjects. Light hearted when needed, heartfelt when needed, but always keeps me accountable. Does a very good job as a facilitator and moderator, attentive, easy to talk to, clearly cares about his students and work.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

I was burnt out with job, dealing with chronic pain and had bad habits with food and social media. I had a lot of ambition but felt constantly distracted and confused about what direction I should go in.

I was a fan of Jordan's YouTube channel and had been reading books from the channel for a few months but didn't have much direction, picking from potential of hundreds of books was overwhelming.

I was doing inner work but didn't have any friends who were into these topics.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I was motivated to join for the community because I was tired of doing so much self improvement on my own. Jordan's content and book recommendations resonated with me the most. The timing felt right to sign up for the SWL.

I figured that having a structured course with a reading list would help me to direct my attention and energy and make my studies more effective.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

Vulnerability and speaking in front of a group, some of the healing benefits that you get from talking in the environment of a group call are unique and can't be obtained from a 1-1 coach/therapist dynamic. You don't realise just how important community is until you're in it.

I learned and healed many things about myself including the contribution of trauma to my chronic pain, sub personalities, inner child wounds, wounds around growing up mixed race and feeling like I never fit in as a child. I saw my own inner critic and perfectionist tendencies that were pushing me towards burnout. I lifted a lot of shame just from regularly showing up to the community. I withdrew so many projections, I learned about my own tendencies to spiritually bypass and grandiosity.

I became more grounded in reality, in touch with my body and in touch with other people. I stopped dissociating. I recognised unhelpful childhood patterns that were showing up as projections in my current relationships. I reconciled my confusions about the contradictions between science and spirituality. My world view has completely levelled up.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

Better relationship and communication habits, better relationship with my inner world and Sub Personalities, improved mindfulness and awareness of my body, an understanding of masculine and feminine archetypes. Better habits with food, meditation, exercise and reading.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1. The community, I've made great friends and connections and met so many interesting and talented people. 2. The course and the excellent books - the books themselves are life changing. 3. The group calls and ability to interact with Jordan which is a completely different experience from watching the YouTube channel. Just being in the group calls and being part of the community chats and messages has been very healing.

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

I now have an incredible map of all of the different healing and spiritual modalities thanks to the SWL course. This knowledge will be with me for the rest of my life. I got way more knowledge from the group calls with fantastic insights into spirituality, psychology, and life in general.

I'm so much more calm, confident and focused. I am able to move forward and pursue my dreams. When old wounds and negative emotions from the past come up, I have the tools to process them.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

My inner world was chaotic and unknown Like the world underneath the thrashing waves of the sea. The world outside of myself was the same, like stumbling in the dark, unable to see, feeling helpless, alone, afraid and powerless. The inky black of my outer world felt sticky and suffocating. And I had no light to see.

I didn’t understand why things were happening inside of me the way they were and outside of me in the outer world I lived in. Behaviours, environments, interactions and experiences. Had me feeling like my head was spinning out of control and into oblivion.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I have followed Jordan for a while now, and I always felt enthralled and amazed by his work. Jordan made it so I could shine a light on the darkness of my life in a way that felt safe, peaceful, protective. I had never felt so seen and understood by someone before, and the way Jordan interacted with me had me feeling safe and able to face my own darkness with a courageous and wild beating heart. And helped me through not feeling so afraid of what lay in the dark and light of myself.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I have noticed in the Shadow work Library an ability to sit with myself like never before. To see myself, not as a demon to be shunned and repressed, punished for the ways I behaved. But to be curious, to feel love, compassion, and a deep need to understand myself more, see myself more, and accept myself in a deeper authentic way.

My internal world, the struggles I have faced, are becoming more and more clear to me. I see life as an opportunity to learn everyday about myself and the world around me.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

In the Shadow work Library, I have been taking more accountability for my inner world and reactions, behaviours, experiences. My introspection has become more profound than ever before. I do my best to sit with myself more Tune into my heart, my body, my experiences and emotions.

I take more time being mindful and honest about my experiences. Open with myself in ways I never knew possible. I have improved in my ability to communicate and express myself and my needs more clearly with partners or family members. I have taken more responsibility for where it is needed.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

I have loved the books in the Shadow work Library, as Jordan describes it “ it’s like having a conversation with the author” And I have not looked at books the same, I feel happy to pick them up and devour the pages, like a little hungry fairy in a succulent garden of fruit and delicacies.

I have absolutely loved being able to speak to Jordan directly about my life and experiences and hear his voice, and wisdom lead me through. I enjoy connecting with the brilliant hearts and souls in the course. Showing me there is more to this world than meets the eye. The seminars as well have been a great way for me to connect with others.

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

I have lived a solitary life in Minnesota's wilderness, spending most of my days alone, frolicking with animals, speaking with flowers like a little fairy in her magical forest home. This experience and ability to connect with people of like minds and hearts has created a beautiful opportunity for me to get out there! Experience the world and the people in it.

The Shadow work Library has been wonderful to experience and I feel so grateful in my body to have met Jordan and connect with a world that my little wild forest heart has always longed to explore. 1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Cracked open, I was being forced to witness what I was ignoring. I felt unstable, metaphorically it was as if I'm floating in space looking at earth from afar, no longer connected to what I thought was my home. Realizing my true self was in space almost the whole time, only then finally forced to see only part of me was on earth. Very scary.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I chose the Shadow Work Library instead of another because of Jordan's book recommendations that he unveils freely to help people. I read one book The Primal Wound and it was life changing. I read another Invisible partners, now romantic relationships are more genuine and connected. I haven't even fully integrated both of them. The library has 36 curated by the man who's read more than 700.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I've witnessed fellow student's reveal their own truths, fears and real vulnerability (akin to leaping of a cliff trusting/hoping that the others would press the button that would deploy the life saving parachute). And I watched as people readily catch them and support them through their pain. It proved to me that there are different stages of wound healing, and some stages are best or perhaps even only possibly healed by others. It is my sincere wish everyone has warm caring community like this.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

The knowledge from the Shadow Work Library passed down was so revealing, healing and paradigm changing that I set up a table to listen to people's problem and see for myself if it can help. The experience ended with clarity that it does, and that this would make the world a better place. I wish this was revealed to a younger me and hope it will be to the future generations.

The course is so good I feel bad for not finishing it before writing a testimonial, I hope that resonates to the quality. I wish to express that this is a fault of my own.

The library is a true gift, if there ever were a utopia of sorts it could not be without it. It is only in studying through this work that one can begin to recognize why things are the way they are, how the we and world aught to and potentially could be. How had more people were able to access this, how much more fulfilling and authentic their life could be and how much more they could have shared with others. 1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

In January, my inner world would best be described as chaos. A cacophony of internal disagreements, somaticized pain in my neck, chest, and armpits. I was bereft of vitality, and struggling to get through each day feeling like a human being. I was in therapy, struggling with intense grief and moderate PTSD symptoms. My outer world was dull, colourless. I knew I needed to go inside and sit with the pain and sort it out. I knew I needed something deeper to get me out of the internal hell I was in. Much like Trauma and the Soul, when Kalsched describes Dante and Virgil passing under Satan's backside to get to purgatory, that's where I found myself.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I found your YouTube page somewhere around November, after I took medical leave from work. I distinctly remember one video talking about Trauma and the Soul, by Donald Kalsched. You were genuine. Clearly, you had done the work, read the books, and changed your life. Not only that, you reminded me of a lot of things that I felt I had lost, and wanted to recover: passion for life, pursuing purpose, and being strong physically and mentally. After hearing about the launch of the SWL, I knew it would be the ticket to the in-depth knowledge I needed to heal myself.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I've experienced a massive reduction in PTSD symptoms, significant reduction in inflammation and somaticized pain, and generally feel more capable as a human being. I found the strength, conviction, and knowledge to launch my own men's coaching business, found test clients, and am now on my way to finding my first paid clients. I notice that I am more calm, and able to sit in and make decisions from my adult self more often. My inner child feels more at ease, and I'm able to contain him when he's upset and needs a witness. If in January I felt like my internal world was a chaotic maelstrom, in September, I feel like I've sailed through it. The winds, the storm, they're still in the background. Yet, every day they recede further out of consciousness. It's truly a gift.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

I've lost 20 pounds, started a business, stopped hating myself, ended a romantic relationship that was not what I wanted, and am on my way to getting promoted at my day job. Reading has replaced doom scrolling, and I start every morning with bioenergetics and ecstatic dancing to Norse folk music. I feel more alive than I've ever felt, and I've only scratched the surface of what's possible. If you are a man that wonders what lies on the other side of the abyss of anxiety, depression, fear, shame, and shame, the Shadow Work Library is for you.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

Meeting people who actually walk the walk in inner work, and not just the talk. Reading fascinating books along with these people. And Jordan's art of asking questions and guiding conversation to enrich everyone's experience.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Before The Shadow Work Library curriculum, I felt as though I was constantly fighting my emotions, my moods, my reactions. I had bad habits and patterns that I couldn't seem to shake, even lifelong ones that seemed to keep resurfacing no matter how many methods I would use to try to address them.

Most of all, I felt frustrated because no matter how many self-help books/podcasts/guru influencers I tried to read or listen to, I felt like there was something missing. Even my therapist seemed more like a friend who enjoyed my company and validated my feelings rather than someone who would truly help me to own the parts of me I fear and loathe.

To own my shadow. I was afraid of myself, of seeing the parts of me that I hated, and that fear seeped into every area of my life.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

It's funny, I've never paid for a course like this, and never thought I would! In general I'm sceptical and wary of anyone online trying to sell something. The only money I've spent on self-help in the past has been in the form of books or therapy. But one day, after watching Jordan's YouTube channel for probably about a year, I had a strong intuitive feeling that I should at least message him on IG and just ask about it.

I'm a spiritual person, so I believe in divine messages that are meant to guide me toward truth in my life, so after initially dismissing the thought as ridiculous (because what kind of schmuck buys anything from someone on YouTube-- sorry Jordan ;)) I decided it wouldn't hurt to send a message. And Jordan happened to respond to me quickly with a voice note, no pressure, just a warm message. He was willing to meet me where I was at, and I am extremely grateful for his generosity.

As far as why I was drawn to Jordan's content and approach to begin with, I noticed his style was so different than anyone else on YouTube. He spoke directly to the camera with no fluff or overstimulating editing. He showed books and, almost exasperatedly, implored me to read them. He answered his viewers' questions on his livestreams with gentle but direct advice. He invites critical thinking, deep introspection (but not the kind that gets you stuck in your head and leaves you crippled when it's time to actually act), and honestly just appears to expect more of himself and of his audience. I connected with his approach, and read a few of his book recommendations... and started to slowly feel my mind, my inner world, unlock.

I knew that The Shadow Work Library curriculum had to hold treasures of knowledge. I desired it.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

The biggest change in how I interact with my thoughts is that I no longer feel I AM every thought that drifts into consciousness. I can step back a bit, leave a little space, and be curious. I still react, I still get emotional, I still have four children and a demanding schedule that sometimes leave me with little capacity to stay grounded and present, but I am so much more likely to sit with my feelings and let them wash over me as waves instead of trying to fight against them and avoid the discomfort of being with my own thoughts.

I feel I have more capability to act, rather than be acted upon. I also have spent much more time asking myself, "Why does that bother you?" or, "Why are you reacting to this person so much?" I have learned a lot about myself by observing my projections. I always thought it would make me hate myself more to attempt to observe my shadow behaviours, but it's actually empowering. It puts me back in charge when I'm willing to face my thoughts and behaviours and challenge them. I have felt more confidence in myself and in my decisions than I ever have before, because I know that I'm not trying to lie to myself or trying to bury my head in the sand. To put it simply, I'm not putting up with my own bullshit anymore.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

Every single one of my relationships has improved. I've been married for almost 15 years and I can see how I have projected certain qualities, negative and positive, onto my spouse. He's open to what I've been reading and learning and we've been able to understand each other more deeply. We are both trying to *see* each other. It's been tender and raw and real and meaningful. Other relationships are less anxiety-inducing because whatever it is, it's not about me. I'm still a compulsive people-pleaser and am continuing to work on that, but if my mom calls me to complain about my brother, I no longer have to carry that energy. I can be there for her without letting myself get sucked in. 

Areas where I've seen improvement in a smaller way but still significant-- I was able to track my macros for four days in a row for the first time in years. I have a history of disordered eating, and gave up on trying to track calories or protein or anything because I would always end up in old thinking patterns, and the shame and self-hate were too overpowering. But this past month I was finally able to track without shame or panic.

On a related note, I've started listening to a playlist I curated to help me tap into my "Huntress/Warrior" energy when I'm lifting at the gym, and I've been amazed at how much it truly helps me to push myself and feel strong and powerful.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1. The community, and the support of real people who are in it with me. 2. Jordan's contagious passion for striving. 3. Doing something really important for myself. 4. Reading more than I have in years! I have tapped into my childhood/teenage bookworm self again and I LOVE that!

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

Jordan, I'm just really grateful. I never would have been able to learn as much on my own, so thank you again for being charitable. I know I could submit more questions or email you more often (I have a shadow behaviour of "not wanting to bother the adult in the room" so I'll try to work on that), but you've still managed to give me so much of value. And everyone else in the community! I truly appreciate you and wish I could be part of the next phase of education you have to offer, but there's just no way in this season that I could afford it. I'm excited for the remainder of this year, though, and am trying to put my big girl pants on, put my phone down, pick some books up, and finish strong! 1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

As I am diving into my 3rd module in the SWL, I recognize I have much yet to learn through this specific curriculum. With that said, my inner world before finding Jordan’s content in general, was one of disintegration and an unclear path of how to continue the healing in a grounded and realistic way. I felt like I had pieces of Truth all jumbled together but I couldn’t make sense of it. I had gone back and forth with sobriety & was stuck in a wheel of suffering, confusion & frustration, always coming back to the same place asking myself “is this healing really possible?” 

When I made the decision to invest in this course curriculum and Jordan’s coaching, something inside me shifted. It was a declaration of devotion to show up for myself in a realistic way, and I’ve watched that transform my life. I’m committed to sobriety, reading and the continued process of sustainable, humble, grounded & heart centered healing.

The curriculum itself is a blueprint, a snapshot of the path Jordan himself has walked. It’s inspired me to know that, yes this healing is indeed possible through self-responsibility AND receiving the support & guidance - im grateful for this support to come in the form of Jordan & other members who are embodying the same, unique walk.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I have joined various courses & healing experiences that offer a more spiritual framework. While I feel these frameworks can be beneficial, it’s important they have something of real substance to ground into, especially due to the risk of spiritual bypassing which I see now is what has created some of my biggest struggles. Many of those approaches left me really fragmented and mentally unstable. Period.

The SWL is unique in that the curriculum and experience with the information offers a well-rounded approach and follows a structure of self actualization. It fills in the gaps where many courses have missing pieces. Slowly, but surely, I feel the gaps being filled in my psyche and being. I know I’m on the path of true integration.

For me the SWL says, let’s carve the framework of our psyche and base our healing on the research of experts in the field of psychology. Let’s look at our inner world, our wounds with both compassion and objectivity as we start to see healing is possible & universal. Let’s make that healing embodied and relational. And then, from a strong structure of understanding and hopefully a healthier ego, let’s enter into the more transpersonal territory.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

While I still have much of the curriculum to complete, what I can say with full conviction is, both the shadow work library curriculum and the group community space have continued to reveal my blind spots. One of the most important aspects for me has been doing the “good- hard look” at my blind spots, having a curriculum for how to achieve integration while simultaneously doing the work of self-actualization.

For me, this looks like continuing to lean on the practices I’ve learned throughout the years, embodied meditation, daily exercise/movement, connection with nature, nutrition & getting in right relationship with God. Now, I’m finding more and more this isn’t happening at the expense of my inner child, it happens with her, and in understanding the various complexes that, when in control without awareness, have lead to so much suffering in the past. I’m still learning, I’m still integrating, and the gaps are being filled slowly but surely.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

Going on 3 months of sobriety and counting! Continuing to dedicate time to a daily reading practice and taking out the Dexter reruns! Putting on playful music and dancing around while I cook dinner. Listening to stand up comedy when I need a laugh and to learn more about leaning into natural charisma and wit.

Probably one of the most important things I’ve noticed due to the support of the course filling in some major gaps in my psyche & development, is for the first time, I actually have moments of peace. I can sit alone and in silence and enjoy it. I feel a sense of connection with life around me, and a sense of trust in God and my path that doesn’t feel like bypassing anymore.

It feels like knowing. And I think for me this comes from really starting to learn what my true Self feels like. My goal is to continue to experience this in relationships with friends and especially with a partner. I can feel it with my family and in my work, and to me that is huge growth.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1) Weekly group calls - I personally see from reading the book Codependence, that this is essential for learning how to be in Self energy, learning that it’s safe to do so with safe people, and I’m hoping to continue to let my guards down that protect the “little girl” that needs to prove herself and get a seat at the table. I’m continuing to learn how to be a better listener. I’m inspired to see the way others express themselves and learn from their stories. As a teacher/healer/helper, I am inspired by how Jordan leads with deep presence, joy, humility, charisma & skill.

2) the journal prompts! I have really been engaging with these exercises in this course and it’s making a massive difference for me in understanding and applying what I’m reading. It’s opened up space for me to free form journal which is a practice I really abandoned for a good long while.

3) the relationships module is killer - this is and continues to be my place of biggest pain. I really deeply crave a sacred union, and yet in many ways I feel I’m not ready. Yesterday, I was able to acknowledge my readiness on Gods timing, and I really think this sacred pause and the transformation that occurs as a result of engaging this curriculum is the missing piece for me. I can’t stress it enough.

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

I'm committed to reading at least 1 book per week until the end of the year. At the very least, im going to try. As I’ve taken out the watching episodes, I have ample reading and curriculum space. Im worth it, because this process WORKS. If how I feel know is just a glimpse into what’s possible, I am hooked. 

Truly, my only regret is I didn’t join in January of 2025! Thank you, Jordan for walking the walk, for sharing yourself courageously and continuing to step into who you are. Your liberation path has set in stone one that we can make our own through walking our inner world via this structure. Thank you for being you. 
 
Lastly, I just want to share a tidbit, I still need to find a copy of Dreamwork as it’s not on Amazon. However, my dreams have been really something since reading the books. I recently had one of my inner child in another room, she was in the form of my sweet niece who is 3. She was alone and when I went in there, she had the classic child pout face. When I looked at her, she was me. And it was like I became conscious in the dream, I held her and I said to her “ im right here and I will never leave you.” I looked straight into her 3rd eye, which grew large on her forehead and it was my eye. I woke up in tears!!! Integration is possible! Slowly but surely.

In my 6 months of studying inside The Shadow Work Library, I’ve had so many breakthroughs that it’s difficult to keep count. Jordan has served as an excellent teacher and role model for what it looks like to integrate the spiritual dimension on the sensory realm. Other courses I’ve been a part of seem to rely too much on the latter. I’ve also done a lot of healing around my relationships.

I had already been reading some of Jordan's book recommendations prior to engaging with the Shadow Work Library course. I was struck by the quality of what I was learning. I had been looking for a deeper kind of knowledge for a long time, without much success.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

My choice to join the Shadow Work Library was based on 2 main points: the books and Jordan himself. First, nobody else offers such a goldmine of book recommendations. It is unsurpassed in breadth and depth. Second, I like Jordan's authentic presence while he teaches. He embodies his work and what he preaches. It comes from deep engagement with his own inner work and with the material he presents. And that, is actually quite rare.

I didn't get any crazy breakthrough experience, it has been more of a stable learning curve for me. There have been many subtle enlightening moments. Cognitively, I have been awed by some of the knowledge I gained from the course. I realized many things about my past and my personality. Direct exercises from the course or its books, where I confronted some shadow areas of my personality, definitely made me a more conscious and whole person. Somatically, I feel much more connected to my body.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

I think becoming a more conscious and healed person inevitably reflects on one's outer world. Integrating some of my shadow and projections made me see the world around me more accurately, more truly. In a way, it made me more honest. I have gained the habit of doing shadow work more instinctively, for example when I notice that someone else's behavior triggers me too strongly. I naturally inquire deeper to understand and integrate what needs to be integrated. I have improved my relation with my body and have developped a healthier and more aware somatic routine. Overall, I feel more integrated and whole. And of course it changes the way I interact in any relationship for the better.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Before I came to work with the SWL, I was at a very low low. I had been healing deep wounds and making good progress until I faced a setback that pulled the floor from under me. It was a hard fall and I felt like I had no hope, no tools, no means for pulling myself up.

I didn't have suicidal ideation like I had in the past, but I did have a deep apathy and scorn for being here on this planet. I was possessed by a part of myself that couldn't be reasoned with to have hope or faith for the future. I was really low, frozen, and controlled by a self-loathing internal voice.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I chose to join The Shadow Work Library because of my experience with Jordan on YouTube and through our online communication. From a professional standpoint, Jordan hands down knows the breadth and depth of all things related to the psyche, soul, soma, and spirit. 

He has so much knowledge mastery within him that it effortlessly spills forth into layman terms. Besides his obvious wisdom, intelligence, and knowledge, it is clear that he has done the work on himself. I'm particularly attuned to how "healing/self-development leaders" present and, by and large, most of them all have concerning dysregulation. Not Jordan. He is clearly very grounded and regulated, from the way he speaks and presents information to the way he handles real-time difficult conversations and questions. 

How he presents on YouTube, on live group seminars, and 1:1 all point to how he operates from a place of love and respect. I chose to work with Jordan because I haven't come across anyone who is near as grounded and genuine as he is. If you're reading this, you must know that you cannot and should not choose to work with a mentor/coach/therapist who is not regulated. Jordan provides the necessary flexible and health nervous system co-regulation to help heal and regulate those around him. 

When you pursue coaching, you're using your resources to be in that person's energy. That in and of itself has the power to lift you into their own vibrational state. Jordan's is extremely high and very inspiring

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

-I've gotten mostly out of a dissociative / freeze state
-My nervous system is more flexible
-Reading the books have, many times, triggered deep internal work (like parts work, inner child, reparenting, etc.). As a result of going into unconscious territory, I have freed up many up repressed emotions, integrated parts, and processed painful experiences. I have a lot of a lot more energy, clarity, and peace.
-My digestive issues have resolved 95+%
-I am sleeping better and dreaming more
-I feel a lot better about myself, my future
-I am no longer living with deep existential apathy for the human experience here on earth
-I feel a deeper sense of being of service to the world

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

Being inside the SWL and within the sphere of Jordan's energy holds my accountability to a never-reached-before high. I have always had high levels of discipline, but Jordan leads through example and I have taken his lead as a golden standard of integrity for which to hold myself to. I've taken how he leads and have applied it appropriately to my own lifestyle.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

-bibliotherapy 
-the books really help and I've indebted to Jordan for reading hundreds and weeding out the top books for us 
-being held in the container and having it hold me to a higher standard

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

I felt uncertain about many things. Specifically, uncertain about my core fundamental values around which I wanted to build my life. On the outside, my life has met most of my expectations. Internally, I often felt disconnected from the current moment and disconnected from my deep core. Integrity was difficult because it wasn't exactly clear "what are the core things around which life should be aligned?". It was clear that the answer laid within. I took multiple actions to research these questions, and the Shadow Work Library has significantly accelerated my progress.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I intuitively knew that I wanted to approach my questions through the lens of Jungian psychology and Shadow Work. Its depth, its aims, and approaches really spoke to me. I really appreciated Jordan's comprehensive and detailed insights that he has been generously sharing online over his YouTube channel. For several years before joining the SWL, I followed many of his recommendations and discovered great insights. Around this time, I started to realise that connection with like-minded people creates great opportunities for growth. So when the opportunity to join the SWL became available, I knew it was the right choice.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I have discovered parts and modules of myself that have been disconnected and separated from the core of my perception. The SWL work allowed me to re-contextualize, re-evaluate, and re-integrate multiple lost and abandoned components back into my life. Although the Shadow Work has "work" in it for a reason - as I believe it is one of the larger challenges one could attempt - the ultimate result is an increase in a sense of wholeness and comfort with my life, and that has been the aim of my work.

The structured approach to themes of Shadow Work and a strong community aspect of SWL helped me on this journey by both giving me a map to navigate through terrains, as well as finding companions on this journey.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

I became more confident in the way I perceive my life, my emotions, and my experiences. I became more honest with myself on a daily basis and found the energy to start rebuilding the life around me based on the newly discovered deep values and views.

3S: Structure, support, spirit.

Structure - I really appreciated SWL's structured curriculum that helped me navigate through a wide range of themes that the Shadow journey holds. 

Support - I really appreciated SWL's supportive community overall, and, in particular, our regular touch points during the seminars, which became an opportunity to share my experiences and hear the stories of others.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

My inner and outer world were fine, like sitting in a burning house fine... It was okay live to live, but it felt empty and meaningless. Wasting away over time with doing meaningless things. While always having the call to something bigger and more meaningful. But I had no idea what do or where to start. I also got more consciously last year, which made me noticed all that, which made it unbearable and I needed to find a way out.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I got a suggestion to got to psychotherapy because of a OCD and some anger issues. The waiting list were rather long and when I finally got in to talk to somebody it felt like they didn't really listen to what I said. At the same time I found Jordans YouTube Channel via a book recommendation list video of his. I bought and read 2-3 books. They connected with me and I was eager to find and do more! Last year I also got way more conscious and it is easier to stay on the path with fellow students to share the journey!

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

The biggest breakthrough was the ability to observe myself. This gave me the change to see myself, when I get taken over by emotions or something else. It helped me stay calmer and calm myself down faster, in case something happened after all. My decision making improved because of that. I also understood better why I would react like that and from where in myself it comes from.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

I got more joy out of life, because I was able to reconnect with my inner Childs. Before it was more like toxic productivity, just work and work and work. I think I need to have a talk with my inner parents soon as well. My behaviour with conflict changed. I set more stable boundries and enfore them. If there is a problem I noticed it sooner and get to a solution instead of letting it run wild and hoping it would solve itself.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

Getting in touch with my inner Childs (vulnerable and 3 year old) The Sunday Seminars and talking about different topics, that I wouldn't even have on my radar Chatting and posting with my fellow students. Sharing information and helping each other out Understanding my own and behaviours of others way better and where they might come from

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

Things change and start to shift. Slowly but there is movement. It will take time, but the journey is well worth it. You will not recognizing yourself from before and after. My journey is still long! Till death meets my journey's end.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

My inner-world hungered for knowledge and a deeper understanding of my shadow patterns. I also wanted to understand more about the collective shadow and why we see certain patters show up again and again in the mainstream news. At my core my inner-world knew there was an important journey to undertake. A journey which would expand my awareness and frame the challenges we often face in life with a depth that wasn't plagued with new age superficial teachings.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

Having watched Jordan's youtube videos for quite some time I knew it would be a course worth the investment. In previous year's I've taken many online 'inner-work courses' which normally last around 3 months and leave you up beat and ready to take on life. But unfortunately the motivation fades and you end up tackling shadow patters which you thought you made conscious and integrated. There's definitely a place for these kinds of courses, but for the individual who's seeking depth and sustained results you need not look any further. I knew this course didn't offer any short cuts and it appealed to my academic nature. It seemed like the deepest approach to inner-work on the internet and I was certainly right!

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

Throughout the course I've noticed a shift in my approach to my inner life. The consistency with reading and inner-work practices has shown me what consistency feels like and looks like and puts me off anything that feels superficial and newagey. Personal healing break through have involved healing my relationship to ejaculation and porn, as well as the Puer within me who doesn't want to take up responsibility. The journey of consistent reading (in a structured way), sobriety, embodiment practices and building community have given me a confidence in myself which would have been difficult to achieve even with one-to-one therapy.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

As mentioned above habits around sobriety are solid and do not require any effort to uphold. Since beginning the shadow work library I've noticed I'm taking up more responsibilities in the community and back myself way more when it comes to speaking my truth. This course helped me to really flesh out 'my truth' in all it's complexities and nuances and really deepen my awareness of important psychological challenges we face as individuals and a collective.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1) The group calls. Witnessing the other members in their truth and honestly has been inspiring. To hear not just from Jordan, but from the many high level students offer their advice to others and over the weeks form a cohesive and therapeutic group container has been amazing to be a part of.

2) The course structure - how each module builds upon the previous - and the books. The books are also great recommendations and most books I've thoroughly enjoyed!

3) As you get to the higher modules everything really kicks up a gear and you get an immense picture of why we're engaging in this work. Human consciousness is ever evolving and it's here where we can continue to be of service to that evolution. Why are you reading this? Is it not in pursuit of more awareness? More understanding? More empathy?

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

My inner and outer worlds have been chaotic all my life. I have only ever known chaos.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

Because Jordan is the most genuine person on the internet, who you see on YouTube and Instagram is who you get inside the SWL. I obviously didn't know that, but from watching a few videos and having an email exchange, I felt safe under his guidance.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I have learned a lot about myself and my psyche since joining. Even though I am at the beginning of the reading journey, the community has helped answer deep personal questions I have been walking with, with no one to take them to, for a very long time. I also enjoy learning from others' experiences and thoughts. So, it is not only the incredibly high-value course material. It is also the high-value community members. Everyone is so kind and generous.

It helps to understand your shadows and where they come from. It is called the Shadow Work Library, but this is the most light a person can get from a shadowy place. Another healing breakthrough I remember so well was my food shadows. After a group call on the matter, I noticed that I have a lot of food-related wounds. It helped me to understand them better (it was not even my question, it was someone else's, that I received value from.)

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

The best new habit - not being available on a Sunday evening. (Apart from extreme circumstances.) I stopped smoking weed and using any other mind-numbing drugs. In general, at this stage of my existence, my relationships are taking a lot of strain. However, I have made a few really good friends in the SWL, which is what is keeping me going on most days. People who truly understand how challenging life can be with a thinking-feeling person.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1. Being part of a community where I am understood. I can talk about the most abstract thoughts and feelings, and most people understand, relate to, or at least give "space" for them. I don't feel weird and alone. I don't have to keep what I think and feel to myself, locked away from a society that does not get it. I am not weird, I am not different, I am not too emotional, or thinking too much, or feeling too much. I can just be, and I fit right in. That is quite nice.

2. Incredible people - sort of linking back to the first part. I love meeting new people, but these are next-level people. People who are on the same journey with the same end-goal in mind (or similar).

3. I think this should be number 1 - but Sunday night calls are really my favourite.

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

Jordan, you may not know this, or completely understand it, but you have personally carried me through what I can only describe as the darkest parts of my psyche and existence. When I am confronted with something, I remember something you said, in a video, in a group call, in a message, and it just helps me choose differently.

Past versions of you on YT have been a guiding light through many dark places, while the present you is showing me the path. I know you carry the weight of many souls on you. But I can assure you, your light is bright. Your work is worthy. I appreciate everything. This is my favourite part of 2025. The SWL. I got to see RW live, and I got to see the auroras. But THIS is the most valuable. Thank you.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Inner world was peaceful but needed a bridge to outer world reality, where I was feeling drained of energy. I had a decent spiritual and philosophical grounding internally but found it hard to translate these ideas to outer world actions without feeling drained. There was a growing sense of frustration about losing energy in the outer world despite having the best intentions internally.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

The course focused on reading "deep" books, which was important to me as it aligned with my desire to read more beyond the superficiality of modern day "self help" books. The quality of the books in the curriculum is well suited to me because it connects mind, body and soul meaningfully and there is flexibility to explore each of these areas individually too. The price of the course is quite fair considering the collective benefits that can be gained from the books+community support+extra videos per module. One is free to be a hermit and/or work with others in the community (although the community engagement is highly recommended).

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

Holistic improvement in every aspect of life from spiritual thoughts to the body and everything in between. I have been able to identify energy vampires in the inner and outer worlds clearly and found practical ways to deal with these and channel energy into things that are important to me. The work to implement key ideas from the books will take time but having the tools (i.e. ideas) is of great help.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

Paying more attention to the body and projecting my voice and ideas in a confident manner. Social calibration has improved to a point where I can hold the tension in standing by my opinions respectfully and healthy confrontations are now welcome.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1- The depth of the books and my growing library, 2-the awareness of bodily feelings and how to manage difficult emotions that arise from making challenging decisions, 3- making friends in the community.

6. Finally, is there anything else you would like me to know?

Jordan has achieved something very unique in the Shadow Work Library. He has created a container where people can safely project, observe and engage with themselves and other like minded people on topics that matter to them, and do so authentically. He has remained authentic and his need to strive for excellence in the quality of material that is presented in the Shadow Work Library seminars/curriculum , which is a credit to him as a coach, content creator and a genuine human being.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Before starting the couse I was going through haevy emotional internal turbulence due to unresolved shadow issues that were being provoked by a close relationship. Externally my life was stable - I had a roof over my head, felt healthy and had a stable job with a decent financial situation.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

I joined the course because I felt an urgent need to systematically heal shadow issues at all levels of my being. This need came about from a prolonged period of spiritual awakening that took me to the highest levels of being, from where I discerned the necessity of diving back down in to the depths to heal buried wounds. The main factor that attracted me to The Shadow Work Library was its comprehensive approach that covers all levels and domains of being.

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I was able to successfully overcome and heal my biggest wounds, leading me to a period of emotional health and stability. I went through a re-orientation of my being whereby I was able to recontextualize my trauma. The moments of descent into agony are now pretty much non-existent and if I do slip into them it is only for brief periods. The remaining emotional pain feels vestigial, like the pain we experience in a physical wound that is almost fully healed.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

Overcoming my relationship-induced pain has had a very profound mpact on my love life. My relationship is consistently loving and mutually supportive in a stable way. I'm no longer triggered by my partner. I also began to eat a more healthy diet and to exercise regularly. My outlook on life is more positive and accepting of reality.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1. The profound insights and self-realizations provoked by the course literature in the early mornings and late nights spent with books. 2. The self-paced aspect of the course, which allowed me to take necessary breaks. 3. The slow but tangible improvement in my emotional health over the timeline of the course.

1. Firstly, how would you describe your inner world and outer world before you started working through The Shadow Work Library curriculum?

Inner world was unsteady and outer world was overloaded with work and social demands.

2. Why did you choose to join The Shadow Work Library instead of another self healing / self development / psychology course?

Because the information and material Jordan shared in his YouTube channel resonated with me. Having tried other forms of healing, his material seemed to be more closely aligned with my perceptions.  

3. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of internal shifts and personal healing breakthroughs have you noticed or experienced?

I feel more inner peace on the daily basis. I’m able to separate myself from moods and thoughts more easily. I’m more grounded in my body. I have a whole new attitude towards psychological and physical health.

4. While studying inside The Shadow Work Library, what kinds of new habits, lifestyle changes or significant relationships have you started to improve?

I’m more conscious of my diet; with a focus on eating wholesome foods and staying hydrated. I’ve organically stopped drinking alcohol. I’m moving my body daily; I’m either walking, doing yoga, stretching or whatever feels good for my body that day. My relationship with my husband has improved significantly and I’ve revitalized the bond with my toddler. I’m reading books every week and I’ve cut down social media usage almost completely. Overall, I’m more present in my life.

5. What are the top three things you've enjoyed most about your Shadow Work Library journey?

1. The content in pure gold. 2. The information is presented in a concise and clear manner. 3. The modules are easy to navigate.
